VOLUNTEERING
How can I volunteer?
The possibilities are endless! “Volunteering” can come in many forms: time, donated items, financial support... No matter what your schedule allows, there is always a way to get involved. Please reachout to [email protected] and we can help direct you.
What are some ways, outside the classroom, I can volunteer?
Most in school events as well as field trips need volunteers or chaperones. There are also many areas within the PTO that require on-going volunteers too, if that's what you're looking for. Outside decor, being a monthly stewart to the Little Free Library, assisting with bulletin boards, set up / break down for staff lunches or snacks, milage club, book fair to name a few.
What are some ways, inside the classroom, I can volunteer?
Admin support is always appreciated by the teachers, as well as reading aloud to the classroom. Sometimes, as trivial as it may seem - sharpening pencils or cutting paper is SO incredibly helpful, given the teachers busy schedules. Holiday party support is another way.
Is there a maximum time allowed for volunteering?
No. If you wish to volunteer regularly - feel free to let us know. We always appreciate volunteers and students LOVE to see their parents inside the school too!
Is there a minimum time allowed for volunteering?
No. Feel free to volunteer only once if that’s what fits your schedule.
If I volunteer once, will I get “Roped In” everytime?
Not at all - we usually send out “SignUp genius” signups - we will NEVER “stalk you” to endlessly volunteer!
